Our cat Floki sure does like the catnip in our USDA zone 5 garden. All 3 cats enjoyed the two big patches of it that we planted this year. We let it go to flower and the hummingbirds loved it, too. Then, we let it go to seed and let the seed eating birds enjoy it for awhile.
Papa ended up cutting it all down so that it will grow up nicely in the Spring but looks like he skipped one plant, it's even got some green on it!
Floki finds it and enjoys for a few moments.
